King Khan, Shah Rukh Khan is very much passionate about his work and his contribution for Indian Film Industry is huge. As the actor brings new concept and ideology for marketing his movie, as a producer also he wants to take Indian Cinema to its next level.
Earlier SRK had expressed his desire of working on a large-scale project like a movie on Mahabharat.
Recently, Shah Rukh opened up about his dream project in the latest article of DNA. As a producer he knows the limitations of Indian Film Industry, therefore he wants to collaborate with International producers to make his dream project ‘Mahabharat‘ bigger than life.
Shah Rukh Khan knows the budget should be huge for his dream project as he is one of the Biggest Moviestar in the world. Here’s what SRK said to DNA, “It’s my dream to make the Mahabharat for the screen. It’s been for years now. But I don’t think I have the budget to do that. I would love to do it, but I don’t think I could afford to. Unless I collaborate. But not with Indian producers. There have to be international producers on board for this one because Indian producers and Indian films have a limited market. This one has to go out into the international markets. So you have to collaborate with someone who’s international.“
He further added, “You don’t take up a subject like the Mahabharat and make it any less. It should be on the scale of a Baahubali or an even larger one.“
Shah Rukh was further asked if he is planning to collaborate with international producers. To which he said, “I’m extremely busy. If I get there, it would be lovely to make that film. I have spoken to a few. Every second person wants to make Mahabharat. There’s nothing concrete happening yet.“
Shah Rukh Khan is busy shooting with Anushka Sharma for his next with Imtiaz Ali which will be released on 11th August 2017.
We’re much excited now, what about you all?
